Willingham Tabernacle Baptist Church is a group of people in and around the village of Willingham, in Cambridgeshire, with a passion for leading others to Jesus and expressing Christ's love to the whole community. The mission of Willingham Baptist Church is to REACH out to the whole community, WIN people for Christ and GROW faithful disciples.
The Tab, as our church is affectionately called, has been around for over 130 years. Our minister, Trevor Rowe, joined us in 2008 from Radcliffe, just north of Manchester, and brings a special blend of experience in schools, puppets, music and encouraging gifts in others. He can be reached by phone on 01954 261193 or email revtrevrowe@hotmail.com

Our Sunday services are themed with a number of different preachers from our own congregation. On the third Sunday of each month there is a traditional service at 9.00 and an all-age celebration at 11.00. Every other Sunday the Family service, which includes Sunday School, is at 10.00. The worship style is contemporary. Our weekly evening service at 6.00 is of a more reflective nature. Communion is celebrated each week alternating between morning and evening.
As a church we are in membership with the Eastern Baptist Association, the Baptist Union of Great Britain, Evangelical Alliance and Christians Together in Willingham.
We also work in partnership with the other churches in the village as Christians Together in Willingham. Christmas 2011 will be the 2nd year we have arranged the Willingham Roving Nativity taking the story of the first Christmas onto the streets with carols and real animals, meeting the wise men coming from Royal Begal, visiting Herod in the Royal Palace and finishing at the rear of one of the pubs with Mary, Joseph and the baby in a manger.
From time to time we run Alpha courses and parenting courses and hold other special events such as a summer holiday club.
Our desire is to serve the God who has transformed our lives and given us a new sense of purpose showing us that there is more to life than we ever could have imagined. Why not come along and meet us? We'd love to see you.
